|E Stand Aside|
|R Whirling Death|
I max Q first because of the extra damage and W second because of the steroid.
Passive: League of Draven
- League of Draven
- Draven gains his fans' Adoration when he catches a Spinning Axe or kills a minion, monster, or tower. Killing enemy champions grants Draven bonus gold based on how much Adoration he has.
Since the passive change, it's imperative for Draven players to catch as many axes as possible to maximize your gold reward. However, you'll want to avoid catching them in precarious situations since you'll be a great targets for skillshot abilities. Also, if you're getting kills early in the game, you'll be snowballing even faster than before but inversely, the lack of kills won't benefit your passive at all.
Q: Spinning Axe
- Spinning Axe
- Draven's next attack will deal 0.6*AD bonus physical damage. The bonus is equal to 45/55/65/75/85% of his total Attack Damage.
This axe will ricochet off the target high up into the air. If Draven catches it, he automatically readies another Spinning Axe.
Draven can have two Spinning Axes at once.
- 45 Mana
- 12/11/10/9/8 Seconds
Draven is a champion that requires some experience due to this ability. The axes add a lot of power to your kit, but it's also risky to get them in some situations. Catching them isn't hard when you get the hang of it, so playing him isn't as difficult as it seems, you just have to practice him a lot like every other champion. They add a lot to your attack damage, especially if you can juggle 2 of them at once. If you stack them with your Blood Rush on, you'll end up doing a ton of damage. Also when your taking baron you can end up juggling 3 axes in the air to make things look even more fancy if you get the hang of catching axes.
W: Blood Rush
- Blood Rush
- Draven gains 40/45/50/55/60% increased Movement Speed for 1.5 seconds and 20/25/30/35/40% increased Attack Speed for 3 seconds. The Movement Speed bonus decreases rapidly over its duration.
Catching a Spinning Axe will refresh the cooldown of Blood Rush.
- 40 Mana
- 12/12/12/12/12 Seconds
This ability is used as a steroid for your movement and attack speed. It is a huge boost, so it will usually give you the upper hand in a teamfight, as long as you are able to reset the cooldown. The CD resets when you catch a Spinning Axe, which isn't too hard. If used correctly, you should be able to go through an entire fight with your Blood Rush on.
E: Stand Aside
- Stand Aside
- Draven throws his axes, dealing 70/105/140/175/210 (+0.5*AD) physical damage to targets hit and knocking them aside. Targets hit are slowed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 2 seconds.
- 70 Mana
- 18/17/16/15/14 Seconds
One of the best things about Draven's Stand Aside ability is that you can block ability's such as Leona's E ability & Jarvan's E + Q ability which can really change the outcome in fights. Stand Aside is Draven's only nuke, except for his ultimate, which is good because he doesn't have to constantly spam his spells, using all of his mana pool. It can be very strong in teamfights because with it, you can separate the team while doing a strong burst of physical damage. If the enemy team is coming through a small pathway, you can ruin their positioning by using Stand Aside in the middle of the group. It's a great self-peel ability.
R: Whirling Death
- Whirling Death
- Draven hurls two massive axes to deal 175/275/375 (+1.1) physical damage to each unit struck.
Whirling Death slowly reverses direction and returns to Draven after striking an enemy champion. Draven may also activate this ability while the axes are in flight to cause it to return early. Deals 8% less damage for each unit hit (Minimum 40%) and resets when the axes reverse direction.
- 120 Mana
- 110 Seconds
Whirling Death is a global nuke that can be pulled back for additional damage. You can aim it anywhere on the map, and after some travel time, it will hit that area that you targeted. It's strong because you can use it to hit the entire enemy team before a teamfight if they are coming through a gap together. It is also fun to use because you can snipe people across the map as they are recalling after a teamfight. One way to use this ability is shooting it so that it goes past the enemy champion you're trying to hit, and then make the blades come back to you and hit the enemy champion on the way back.
