Pros and Cons
Pros
Amazing early ganks.
Can easily turn around team fights.
Great in AoE Comps.
Good objective control with ultimate.
Cons
VERY squishy.
Blue buff reliant.
Easily counterjungled.
Very reliant on getting your ult off in team fights.
Hello, my name is Marllon and I really liked your guide, helped me a lot, I tested this build against bots and played very well. And so I've been testing in pvp and it seems it was easier still. Thank you.
Hey, I've been tasting fiddles out a little lately and an item I've been getting some results with is the new Shard of true ice as it synergiesis wonderfully with fiddles ult. What do you reckon?
That sounds really good, except you don't have to build that yourself. You can just have the support build it (since it's a GP10 item anyways) and have them put it on you. Good idea.
Awesome guide. The thing about Fiddles if you HAVE to be careful, you can't be constantly engaged, and when you ult you have to be careful that the other team doesn't escape, an awesome ult if you have a good Jarven on the team. Also if the other jungler is very aggressive on blue you're sort of screwed, and try to make your team synergize to where your teammates don't need blue as much as you do. Wards are recommended, as if you can catch an opponent trying to take a jungle you can win the fight with your ult as long as they don't get support.
Also, TIP!: You can zhonya during your ult, greatest thing ever.
good guide, looks pretty solid, but instead of the abyssal scepter, i would get a rylais. Because the rylais gives you the health you need in order to stay alive in a team fight and still have the ability power to wipe out their team. just a suggestion though!
Rylias doesn't synergize well with Fiddle as he does not need the slow. Zhonas into Abyssal give fiddle 50 armor, 47 mr, and a 2 second invulnerable stasis and that is really all he needs for tank stats. And If I were to even get an early HP item for whatever reason it would be a doran ring or two or haunting guise for the added magic penetration to synergize with Fiddle's passive, but Zhonas > Abyssal Scepter is definitive core and he almost always needs those items ASAP. The thing about fiddlesticks is he synergizes too well with flat magic pen/mr reduction due to his passive. 9 mpen from runes. 20 pen from boots, 10 magic resistance reduction from passive and 20 from abyssal. That's is a TON of early mpen/mr reduction (even more if you get a haunting guise) and you won't need a Rylias because you will be doing true damage to anyone that isn't Galio or stacking MR out of pure fear of you.
I'd say instead of the hourglass first go for the hexetech revolver then will of ancients then after deathcap after all of that I usually go for the deathfires grasp
This guide seems to be very good :) Thanks for that!! And one thing to everyone, if you see enemy picking Lee Sin, do NOT pick Fiddle. Unless you are in 800 elo, Lee will counter jungle you so hard and just wait somewhere in your jungle and kill you. And he WILL kill you, I learned it hard way :D
Still no Solo Lane Fiddle or Support Fiddle guide... well, lets check this out first.
Utility masteries? Meh, they don't give you that much power, if you want to get level ASAP, it's better to just clear your jungle faster, because you're so vulnerable to counterjungling.
Please don't rush Zhonyas or squishy items in general. The only thing it takes for the opposing team is to Flash out of your range, wait for your Active to end and then nuke your face. You need to constantly reposition as Fiddle, so it might be a better choice to grab an early Rylai's.
It definitely isn't better to go into Offensive masteries over Utility in any situation. The AP masteries in the Offensive tree barely give you anything that effect your early Jungling at all, the most important ones in the Offensive tree are the ones I also take. The benefits you get from going 21 into the Utility tree are far to good to pass up for 5% more ability power, which at level 1 with no items is under 1 AP. I don't think you fully understand what you are talking about.
Rushing Zhonya's is the BEST option for Fiddles in most cases, as after level 9 there will be at least one champion that won't be able to simply Flash away like you say for 3 seconds, and within that 3 seconds they will easily die to your ult in combination with your bruiser. Getting an early Rylai's completely goes against your point, what does 500 extra HP do for you to stop people from nuking you? Zhonya's prevents 2 seconds of damage onto you when you Crowstorm into a team fight. if you are initiating a fight, 500 HP from Rylai's is nothing compared to the 2 seconds of damage you would take without Zhonya's.
