Strategy and Tactics
- Always time your buffs, the enemy's (when possible) and objectives like Baron and Dragon. A good jungler has to time all the buffs in order to be on top of his game.
- If you're vs a heavy counter-jungler like Shaco or Shyvana, you should ward the entrances to your jungle and try to catch them when they least expect it. Make them regret trying to counter jungle you.
- Whenever you do wraiths, move very close to them before attacking them. This is to make sure you'll hit all 4 raptors with Righteous Fury.
Kayle can do multiple Jungle routes as her first clear. There are 3 possible options for starting camps: Krugs, Red and Gromp.
Krugs: In previous patches this was the best starting camp, since you'd get the stun buff combined with the 10 soft resets you could do to camps. Nowadays I don't like it as much as both were nerfed and Kayle doesn't have enough attack speed early on to use the buff fully.
Red: My favorite jungle start, especially if botlane gives a hand, you'll usually be level 2 and full HP after clearing this buff, as smiting it lets you gain health back.
Devourer - Crab Control:
Since you're playing a Devourer jungler, one of the most important things is to able to stack the item rather fast. The two objectives that give most stacks are Dragon (5 stacks) and the Scuttle Crab (2 stacks).
You can kill Scuttle Crabs pretty well, especially if you have the Krugs stun buff. Controlling Crabs is also important to make sure your lanes are safer. You can't exert the same map pressure early on as other junglers like Elise, Gragas, Lee Sin or Rek'sai, so keeping your lanes safe is a good alternative.
Kayle isn't very good at soloing Dragon, especially early on, but if your botlane gets an advantage you can call for their help and cash in on those 5 stacks.
In team fights you really need to focus on debuffing high priority targets while keeping anyone off your AD/AP Carry with your Q slow.
Heal your initiator for him to go in.
Remember to save your ultimate for priorty targets. Also, you need to ult to block incoming damage and not save a target in the last second. That's not what it's for. If you can make the enemy waste 3 ultimates whilst doing 0 damage you can turn the teamfight around almost exclusively.
Tips and Tricks
The most important aspect of ganking is chaining. Chain Q and E (with redbuff) to CC someone into the ground. Once this is done, there is no getting away, master this and people will have nightmares of Kayle jungle. Kayle has very strong early and mid game ganks, so you have to use this time wisely to get yourself ahead.
With this item build you'll have max CDR so stay at range behind your front line and keep your E up at all times. You're still very fragile but your skill set still allows you to deal damage in a fight, boost nearby allies and stay alive if you play smart.
Timing your ultimate can negate many escapes or damaging moves thrown on you. If you time your ulimate correctly you can negate this, causing them to waste their spell, and continue to pressure them. Watch what they're doing, if they turn quickly to face you then be quick to react and you can stay in range if need be to land the kill.
Synergies and Counters
Counterpicks - Jungling
Junglers that can outduel her early on.
Kayle has great synergy with any late game hypercarry, by keeping them alive and allowing them to survive and do more damage.
