This guide is written by Crs Cop, a Challenger rated player and ADC for Team Curse. Miss Fortune - a powerful ADC due to her ability to make trades and to do massive AoE damage with her "Bullet Time" Ult.
The road to Curse was a long one for Cop, being a member of several minor teams before finally landing with the organization, joining as their starting AD Carry in late 2011. Teaming up with Elementz, who had recently joined the team after leaving CLG, the two quickly developed a strong synergy and began forming potent bot lane strategies. Previously criticized for failing to commit to making dramatic plays, he has gone out of his way to shed this negative stigma. Cop has proved he is one of the best ADC's in North America. He's consistent and aggressive when he needs to play this way.
Miss Fortune (MF) is one of the highest attack damage carries in the game. She is one of the stronger laners in the game and most definitely in bottom lane (duo). She has an amazing Q ability (Double Up) allowing her to do extra damage and proc on-hit effects such as Bloodthirster, which will be mentioned later in the guide. Miss Fortune has also an amazing steroid with a passive that deals extra magic damage stacking up to 4 times. That is almost like a B.F sword except in magic damage. Also she has 2 AoE damage spells, both magical. One that gives a slow somewhat like Gangplank's cannon barrage, but a lot smaller and less damage. Last but not least the ultimate. These two abilities can combo really well if you can have your team synchronize it well.
It scales off attack damage or ability power depending which value is higher. Go to 40 seconds at this Video.
A few things to keep in mind when choosing Miss Fortune are that she is one of the two AD characters in the game with a healing reduction debuff. This makes her a strong choice against characters like Soraka, Nidalee, and other healing types. In addition to that, she has a very strong early game and is able to put out more damage than most champions in the early levels. She can be played as a solo lane character or in a duo lane at bottom, although most people play her competitively in a duo lane. My recommendation is duo lane for competitive and solo que unless you have a lane you know you can counter.
For those who brave the harsh seas of Runeterra, attaining one's own ship and crew is the pinnacle of success. Sarah Fortune, a well-respected (some would say legendary) bounty hunter from Bilgewater, was able to achieve this feat just after her sixteenth birthday, etching out her name as the go-to gal for resolving special troubles. No bounty was too difficult or too dangerous for her feminine charm and her renowned use of her twin pistols, ''Shock and Awe''. Her success gave her the means to legitimately purchase her own ship... with a little flirtatious haggling, of course. Things weren't always so fortunate for Miss Fortune, though. When she was young, trade ships began to dot the horizon of her quiet home in the northern shores of Blue Flame Island's largest chunk. Trade routes brought piracy, and the inhabitants soon found themselves caught in a frenzy of pillage.
One day, young Sarah returned home to hear gunshots and screaming. Her front door was smashed open; inside, she saw her mother lying in a pool of blood. A sudden blow to her head made her collapse next to her slain mother. The last thing she could remember were her attacker's red eyes, as his face was blocked by a rogue's bandana. Miss Fortune has a strong distrust for pirates and she finds herself constantly bickering with the infamous Gangplank (the only captain to resist her charms) over the direction of Bilgewater politics. Her two goals: to unite the people of Bilgewater, making them into a strong and independent society, and to find the pirate who killed her mother. To that end, she has entered the League of Legends as a champion, trading her skills for the wealth and influence that will help her accomplish both.
