This build guide for Olaf is for jungle and is by Saintvicious, a platinum rated player on League of Legends. Olaf Jungle is still viable, however he is more often played in top lane. Massive true damage and resilience makes him good for diving onto carries.

Starting Items

  • Health Potion
    x5
  • Hunter's Machete

Start machete plus 5 pots for a good speed clear as well as sustain.

 

  • Cloth Armor
  • Health Potion
    x5

Cloth Armor and 5 Health Potions is if you are going to be jungling more than ganking, because Cloth Armor and 5 Health Potions lets you jungle for a longer period of time without going back, but without boots its a bit more difficult to gank a lane. I usually only go Cloth Armor and 5 Health Potions if I am going to be jungling/counter jungling for most of the game with some ganks.

Boots

  • Ninja Tabi

If the enemy team is AD heavy then you want to go ninja tab

  • Mercury's Treads

Boots depend on the enemy team. If the enemy team is really heavy on AP/CC then I would most likely get Mercury Treads, but if the enemy team is just heavy on Attack Damage, then I would probably get Ninja Tabis. If you can't decide whether the enemy team is heavier on Attack Damage or heavier on AP/CC, then you can go either, it would be up to you.
