This is Pretty much the best Riven Build in the game right now, Spirit Visage makes you nearly against any Mage in the game and Hydra is your core item giving you the ability to cancel a lot of her animations giving you extra damage here and there. Black cleaver is another must have item on Riven, every stat it gives her is a must have and to top it off Guardian Angel is probably the best defensive item on Riven no questions asked!
Okay so now I'm going to explain everything I know about Riven her best traits and weak traits in best detail. Riven is a fairly simple champion to learn however can be harder to master in higher elo.
Laning Phase: Riven's lane phase is fairly simple, farm passively to level 2 play a bit passive aggressive try to put a little bit of hurt with your q and w and just walk out and when hurting him enough you can zone him around level 3 with your poke and e away to take no damage. Of course when being ganked you gotta watch out and just be aware of where their jungler always is but thats self explanatory. Now Riven is able to get out fairly easy when being ganked but it also matters where your caught out when caught out all the way at the enemy's turret well lets face it, your screwed! But what I mean is if caught half way you can easily get out with your q w and e without taking too much damage however of course your skills must be up. Now my item choice of getting boots and 3 pots is also standard however in the new meta of getting fort pot ward and 4 health pots you obviously dont need boots first but now with the new nerf on fort pot boots is still the standard way to go. You can also go armor 5 pots when facing a heavy damage dealers such as darius or like garen or lee sin. You can also flat out start dorans if you're feeling like a big man and you want to go all in fairly quickly however if you do this I suggest that you cheese and get some wolf or wraith exp so it'll be a easy kill. The ignite in lane phase is self explanatory kill people who flashed away with low hp use as a aid when about to use your ulti. You can also get teleport but I advise you to only get teleport if you want to play passive or at most passive aggressive since you won't have ignite and can be difficult to full on trade.
Early Game: There's not much to it than you just stay in top lane! Well unless you do very well and take out your enemy's turret you can roam around mid and force a dragon, but if not you just stay top lane and do yo thang.
Mid Game: In my opinion I feel this is her moment it's like Kobe Bryant when he's on fire or like Ray Allen swishing them threes... Anyways.. back to Riven I feel as though her mid game is her best part because of Riven's damage, not being focused much, and less teamfights and more picking off around this time. Mid game is usually when mistake occur in both teams and Riven can be a beast at picking off champions because of her 4 dashes one second she's far away and bam! she flashes in yo face with that stun and you're dead meat. Mid game there usually is less pushing too than late game so in team fights she can either flank and pick off the adc in 5 seconds or just peel for her own adc.
