This build guide for Singed is for Top lane, by TSM Dyrus a 2600 player. If you let Singed free farm he will be a massive problem late game. He's a super tank with lots of crowd control; great for solo queue.

Pro Commentary
Pros and Cons
Pros
Incredibly disruptive to the enemy team when farmed
Deals a significant amount of damage
Anyone flung will be wildly out of position and generally die instantly
Very tanky
Cons
Very weak early laning phase
Countered by knockbacks
When late game comes around, he generally dies before he can fling anyone
Hmm, i rarely put mega adhesive in lvl4 (and as i saw in dyrus vids he rarely do it too. :P), cause that level you don't have the mana pool to use it, so better take one more point to fling (MUCH more harash /killing potential).
Anyways i like to build liandry, with the new penetration system don't think it's worth to stack that much resistance... actually i think that build work well, but you can get 4-5k hp with just AP items, you can basically one shot they carries then, and because of your ult you will be still tanky enough, but you can have much higher damage.
If i wanna do the tankier way i think randuin is still a bit too much of resistance, so i prefer building liandry instead, and last item can void staff IF the enemy stack MR, anyways abyssal, warmog or even GA viable.
Anyways i don't think signed have bad early game, he can harash and kite well against most champs, against meelees you can harash with invisible poison really effectively and that way of harash cost about... nothing, enemies don't see and even if they know that trick they can't do anything if they want the cs... the only problem with singed's early is that before the first shop he should use his mana carefully, and it's hard against ranged champs when you should play agressively if you wanna stay in lane... but against meelees it's not that hard.
The point of a point in MA at lvl 4 is to help escape/set up a gank. If you don't think you need to worry about either you obviously shouldn't put a point in because it costs a ton of mana. It just comes down to how you feel in that particular game.
What do you think about Spirit's Visage? Boosts up his ultimate regens and gives him cooldown reduction for slow, fling and ultimate. Maybe combined with new Will of the Ancients? It now builds from Hextech Revolver and Kage's Lucky Pick, which could really help out Singeds early game farming problems.
Don't think it's good, if you should build negatron in lane maybe, but abyssal is better i think. Your hp regen is not that high from ult to spirit visage worth it, and if you wanna cd redu (cd redu is not a must have for singed, but always good) build glacial shroud-->FH.
The problem with Wota is 2 thing: Firstly, it's just 1/3 regen for aoes, 2nd-ly you can build so much items that drop your dps drastically compate to WoTa, or make you much more tanky.
Anyways if you got massive dmg you will be unable to use your skills to regen yourself, so better buy tanky items so you got less dmg.
I thoroughly agree with this post. Abyssal Scepter works wonders on Singed - he's in the middle of the enemy team anyway. He's always initiating or sticking to important targets and shoving them around, so IMO it's better to get a items that give him staying power and sustained damage or utility. I often go for the Sunfire Cape +Abyssal Scepter 'combo' after the mandatory Rod of Ages, which I think is the perfect mix of the three.
From SV you get a small boost to hp regeneration, which isn't really Dr. Mundo tier and is more drawn out in time, so why bother? Singed's regenerative capabilities are far too humble to make him a "regen tank" like Mundo, Vlad (long ago) or Swain.
I've experimented with Will of the Ancients however, though not in Season 3. It felt quite good to leave a fight with 200hp left, kill off a creepwave or two and heal back to 80% to get back into the brawl or deliver a push before the opponents regroup. I felt too squishy in teamfights still.
It just feels to me that "regen tanking" is reserved for a very small roster of champions in LoL. Morello made sure healing would suck for the general public and I think that's his biggest achievement (or at least an important saving grace).
Great build Dyrus.Weak early on,strong mid game and CRAZY late game...I had 15/5/10 with teamscore 25-45 on enemy side.I got Elise top and did a great job. When you get catalyst the protector you will have no problem farming, just hit q and run through minions.I only have one question:Do you think taking points out from Honor Guard,Defender and Block and investing them in Wandered pays of?Those 2% movement speed do look great, but still those defense masteries do help you. What do you think guys?
im having abit of a problem with singed early game farming. i feel very squishy and vulnareable, and trying to farm usually opens up the path to getting hit, and i feel i cant really trade with anyone, unless he plays incredibly bad. how can i farm more safely in the early stages of the game? waiting for the push to reach my turret and farm there usually makes it so that they enemy has a level advantage, and he zones me on my own turrets, which leads to a loss in the lane.
That's why I take teleport an ask my jungler to gank early. If I don't get a kill we take enemy hp low and I have enough space to farm. When I get enough gold I buy Catalyst the Protector and that gives you tankines and mana regen you want to have for spamming your Poison Trail.
first of all when u play singed allways have yes cataclyst but play offensive with ward ofc, and if he pokes, u regain hp and mana andi allways starts with the drink, the.... i dono what it is called but u can refill it when u come to base, it regains 150 hp and 60 mana and 3 usetimes.
