Item Build
Starting Items
or
If you are up against an easy champion that cannot harass Tryndamere very easily out of lane, such as Galio or Nasus you should take Boots for easier last hitting and the ability to escape ganks more easily. Most of the time however, the enemy team will counterpick Tryndamere because he can become such a threat late game. It is not uncommon to have to play against champions who utterly devastate Tryndamere in lane such as Kennen, Vladimir, or even an AD carry top lane. Weak farming early game will result in weak damage late game; thus it is important not to pick Tryndamere early in the drafting rounds and only pick him if there is zero potential for you to get countered in lane. If you are forced to play against AD heavy champions that can harass Tryndamere very well in the early stages of the game such as Gangplank or Renekton, you should start off with Cloth Armor to negate some of that damage.
Core Items
Grabbing an early Vampiric Scepter and Zerkers greaves will allow you to sustain in lane against most champions due to his high base damage and regen from Q. Then you can either rush a Brutalizer or a Zeal, both of which will help his early game and laning tremendously. It is almost gauranteed that you will be upgrading that Brutalizer into a Ghostblade as the active is just too good on Trynd when you dive onto their carries, but I feel that buying the Avarice blade anytime before you completely upgrade it makes your early-mid game too lackluster. If you find yourself snowballing hard then you can pick up the GP/5 early but otherwise it's not really too important to secure. Once you have a Zeal and a Ghostblade you will be packing a serious punch and then we can move onto your bigger items that will help you completely and utterly carry a game.
Endgame Items
Infinity Edge is a great item on Tryndamere because of his innate ability to gain massive crit chance. WIth both Infinity Edge and Phantom Dancer you will be a great threat to any opponent, being able to kill them within a matter of seconds. Guardian Angel is a good item to pick up as you will probably be focused in team fights as a major threat, and Guardian Angel provides you with an extra life so that even if you are focused down early or fail to use your ultimate, you can still get back up and keep dealing damage. Keep in mind that Undying Rage will take precedence over Guardian Angel, thus it is important to try and use your ultimate before you die because of Guardian Angel's long cooldown. Last Whisper is a good item to pick up if the enemy team has built a lot of Armor to try and counter you. You can decide to take this earlier than Phantom Dancer if they have built Armor earlier than you would expect. Finally, upgrading that Vamp scepter you picked up for Sustain to a Ravenous Hydra or even a Blade of the Ruined King will help close out your build into a carry killing machine. If you find yourself the target of extremely heavy CC then consider throwing in a Mercurial Scimitar for the damage+active.

But he aleready got his ult for survive. and i use Flash. and his Q can be an escape too. The only counter on Trydamere is Teemo. But he cant get Trydamere in a 1v1 anyways. =)

Posted 12/17/2012 3:37:02 PMI'm a bit confused on the runes. There are armor pen marks and move speed quints in the quick guide section but there are ad marks and ad quints in the rune section. The description in the rune section matches the runes in the quick guide section so I'm assuming armor pen marks and move speed quints are the correct ones?

Posted 11/30/2012 1:08:41 PMThe description still says by Pobelter while the guide is now from Voyboy. Pobelter is on Meat Playground now so I'm pretty sure he isn't writing guides for curse anymore (this was probably just updated by Voyboy).
Btw, welcome to Curse Voyboy, I wish the best.
Thanks for the guide.

Posted 10/4/2012 3:31:34 PMlol...you don't need tankiness items on Tryndamere because of your ulti. Even that GA isn't necessary.
That good about Tryndamere, that you don't need to build survivability items, but can focus on damage only.
