I was thinking, if you are with a Soraka and don't need a tear, how would Spirit ot Elder Lizard work on him? Seems like it'd give him a lot of clutch stats.

Just have a question wanna ask, is it possible for urgot to play as a support role at bot lane? He has a very strong aggressive combo on lane, and passive reduce damage, and his w could reduce movement speed, ult has a very good cc.

Sorry for bothering, but i have a stupid question. I've checked the store like 100000 times, and couldn't find marks and quintessence of "desolation". Those that I have, give a 1.28 arm pen for marks and 2.56 arm pen for quintessence. Is it something wrong in the guide or something wrong in the store?

Guide was slightly out dated at the time and riot changed the name of those runes to what they are now before the guide was updated.

Have you tried mercurial scimitar and iceborn gauntlet instead of frozen heart and maw? it is ridiculous.

Why doesn't anyone play him anymore? I'm curious because I win 80% of my urgot games and I'm not sure where he falls short compared to other carries. The season 3 items make me feel like he's overpowered and he just poops on vayne and caitlyn all the time.

It really depends on how you play: if you like survivability, go frozen heart and maw. Mercurial scimitar only 5 ad, 9 mres, and the active whereas Maw gives gives ad based off of how much health you don't have (thus making it good with frozen heart) plus the shield, allwoing for even more survivability. All in all, I think that Maw and Heart are better.

Honestly, Urgot's more of a counterpick than anything. As such, that's probably why people don't play as much anymore.

Homeguard's better because it allows you to return to your lane faster. This does deteriorate after the laning phase, but the laning phase is what allows you to get farm. All in all, I personally think that Homeguard's better.

Wouldn't boots of furor be a better choice, since it would help you chase and kite? (procs off acid hunter)

  • #40 KjarRokulaine

I think that the main problem with that would be what it would be replacing. It should work but I'm not sure that it would be the best item to get.

As a situational choice, would Runaan's Hurricane be considered a viable item on Urgot? Ordinarily, Urgot gets little to no benefit from attack speed, but the passive on Runaan's Hurricane does proc Urgot's damage reduction debuff on its secondary targets. Building Runaan's means that you could potentially hit a whole team with your debuff within two or three attacks. An across-the-board 15% damage reduction debuff on all enemy champions seems too good to be true.

Doesn't seem to be worth it when you can already hit 2 at once by auto attacking and using q. With the short cooldown it shouldn't be too hard to hit everyone. And then there's the fact that it takes up an item slot that you can use for more damage, more tank, or both with only attack speed that he doesn't use that well being an ad caster.

  • #38 KjarRokulaine

That would most likely make you lose your lane.

  • #37 madagny

if you get a tear, you can pretty much just spam q on cooldown as you run around the map and get a maramune in the first 15 minutes of the game... then you pretty much never run out of mana doing all the damage you want.

  • #36 KjarRokulaine

IMO, Urgot wouldn't be very good solo top; he doesn't do nearly enough damage for toplane.
