Runic Bulwark
Sunfire Cape
Maw of Malmortius
Enchantment: Alacrity
Pros and Cons
Pros
Inherently tanky in teamfights due to his passive, Stoneskin
Very disruptive with his ultimate, gap closer, and decoy
Has essentially an inbuilt Last Whisper for killing tanks
Wukong is by far my favorite champion. I've made a few tweaks to my builds, based on who I play, but the guide was extremely helpful and informative. Awesome guide Jaximus, thanks!
If you want to go for a more offensive wukong then it's great if you want to lower their armor for everyone, I don't like buying armor pen because his q is magnificent and I like tankiness more, basically BC is great if you want to lower all of their armor while last whisper goes well with your q and will make you start doing higher damage faster since you don't have to play the stacks game. It's the difference between trying to do more damage to the entire team and trying to be more helpful to your team with armor reduction.
I liked the build, but im not sure about Wriggle's Lantern, it is good i know that, it gives you sustain and some defense, i was just wondering if changing it for a Black Cleaver would be a nice idea or another item, any ideas?
It really is the only thing that gets the job done for what you want, brutalizer costs about the same but gives him less and he needs lifesteal, if you really want damage I suppose you could make it into a bloodthirster but the ward, extra armor, and lifesteal are all things that wukong desperately needs.
Currently Wukong is very weak against most of the bruisers in top lane. However, he excels at teamfighting and he is a very strong mid laner against most AP's. You generally want to farm hard and get tanky enough to carry teamfights.
Fiora has innate sustain and better trade as well as being able to parry his q, if you think that you're winning because wukong is not countered raise your elo up and try again, I assure you there is no sense that fiora doesn't counter him in during lane.
