RUNES. Normal runes. Just build em. They're good. Damage does damage. Armor runes give armor. MR/level lets you not have to stack much armor end game. They're good because they work, and because they're good. Xin has an armor shred so it makes armor penetration very potent on him. Flat damage helps you last hit, it helps you kill people.

Alright as I mentioned above, defensive masteries help Xin survive the lane, do better in team fights, and survive the lane. Offensive masteries aren't a TERRIBLE idea, but you will notice a lot more dying. Defensive masteries let you just do your job better. YEAH, again, sometimes you can make offensive masteries work. Think of this guide as recommendations though, and I'm recommending the crap out of you to go defensive.
FlashTeleports your champion a short distance toward your cursor's location.
IgniteIgnites target enemy champion, dealing 70-410 true damage (depending on champion level) over 5 seconds, grants you vision of the target, and reduces healing effects on them for the duration.
Flash ignite is the best because they're the best. There aren't really any other viable builds to go, so I don't go them. They're the best right now.
I like burning things... watching them burn... BUUUURN... also the 5 damage and 5 AP are really useful via ignite mastery. Xin has decent AP ratios so it's not that bad.
